Our Best Bets went 4-1yesterday, which is exactly the type of bounce back that we needed. Our Best Bets stand at 5-1 for the week. Tonight, we have a Monday Night Doubleheader starting with a game between the Jets and Dolphins at 7:15 ET. Then we have the Broncos and Bengals facing off against each other at 8:15 PM. I have gone through the available bets and picked the one that I believe will hit. Let’s make some money!

Best Bets
  • Justin Fields Rush Yards over 47.5
  • J.K Dobbins Rush Yards over 64.5
Jets @ Dolphins

The 0-3 Jets are traveling to Miami to take on the 0-3 Dolphins. Both of these teams desperately need a win. These teams have plenty of history but in the last 5 matchups, the Dolphins are 4-1. The most recent game was a 32-20 Jets victory on January 5th, 2025. Coming into this matchup, the Dolphins the lead all-time series 61-57-1.

Neither of these teams are having a particularly good start to the season. The Jets are averaging 23 points scored and 31 points allowed per game. Meanwhile, the Dolphins are scoring 18.7 points per game while allowing 32.3 points per game. I would typically say that the poor defensive performances would indicate an over. However, the offenses for each team have been struggling so this might be an ugly game.

Game Odds

The public is favoring the Dolphins with the points. 54% of the public bets and 51% of the money are on the Dolphins -2.5. 75 % of the bets and 45% of the money are on the Dolphins mL. Meanwhile, 62% of the bets and 54% of the money are on the under 44.5.

Best Bet Background – Justin Fields Rush Yards over 47.5

Justin Fields is returning from a concussion tonight. In his first 2 games this season, he has run for 49 and 48 yards. Tonight, he faces a Miami defense that is allowing 145 yards per game, which is 28th in the NFL. The Jets offense as a whole is set up to run the ball. They are the 9th ranked rushing attack, averaging 127 yards per game. With this AFC matchup headed towards a dog fight, there is a chance that the Jets may be trailing at some point. If that is the case, the Jets will rely on the legs of Justin Fields to move the ball down the field. If the Jets are winning, they will continue to run the ball and utilize Fields’ legs. Either way, Justin Fields should make an impact on this game with his speed.

Bengals @ Broncos

The 2-1 Bengals are traveling to Denver to take on the 1-2 Broncos. The Bengals are coming off of an ugly loss to the Vikings where they lost 48-10. The Broncos are trying to get themselves back to .500 after losing 2 tough games to the Colts and Chargers this year. These teams have some history where the Broncos lead the all-time series 22-12. The most recent matchup was a thriller on December 28th, 2024, where the Bengals won 30-24.

The Bengals look lost without Joe Burrow at the helm. They are averaging 19.3 points per game, which is 24th in the league. This is a departure from the output we have come to expect from the Bengals. To make matters worse, their defense is allowing 30.3 points per game, which is 26th in the league. They face a Broncos team that is averaging 22.7 points per game and allowing 21.3 points per game. That is 17th and 16th respectively. The Broncos are favored by 7.5 points and based on the first 3 weeks of the season; the Broncos should run away with this one.

Game Odds

The public is favoring the Broncos with the points. 66% of the public bets and 75% of the money are on the Broncos -7.5. 94% of the bets and 80% of the money are on the Broncos mL. Meanwhile, 61% of the bets and 51% of the money are on the under 44.5.

Best Bet Background – J.K Dobbins Rush Yards over 64.5

The Broncos are another team that is set up to run the ball. They have a mobile quarterback in Bo Nix which helps their running backs in the RPO game. Newly signed running back, J.K Dobbins, is the primary benefactor of this run game. He is the leading rusher for the team, totaling 41 carries for 222 yards and 3 TDs. He has run for 63 yards, 76 yards, and 83 yards in each week. He is going up against a Bengals run defense that is allowing 119 yards per game so far this year. The Bengals are also without their star quarterback, Joe Burrow. With their back up, Jake Browning, they are very likely going to be falling behind the Broncos. That means that the Broncos will rely more heavily on the run to close out the game. Dobbins is able to become the workhorse as well as break a long run. I would expect Dobbins to involved heavily and I would expect him to have one of his better games so far this year.
