Week 16 is here and so is our Best Bet and matchup analysis. Last week, we went 3-3 on our Best Bets. We have the Rams and the Seahawks facing off against one another in an NFC West heavy weight matchup. I have gone through the available bets for tonight and picked the one that I think should be a lock. Let’s make some money!
Best Bet
Kyren Williams Rush Yards over 57.5
Rams @ Seahawks
Match-up Overview and History
The 11-3 Rams are traveling to Seattle to face the 11-3 Seahawks. Winner of this game will take control of the division and put themselves in the drivers seat for the number 1 overall seed in the NFC. These division rivals have plenty of history. They have played 56 games and the all-times series record is tied at 28-28. The most recent game was about a month ago on 11/16/25 and it was a 21-19 Rams victory.
The Seahawks are getting 1.5 points at home. The point total is being set at 42.5 points. The public is fairly split on who is going to win this game. 51% of the bets and 54% of the money are being placed on the Rams to win. Meanwhile. 57% of the money and 63% of the bets are being placed on the Rams +1.5. Despite the weather conditions (wet and wild per my Seattle friend), the public is expecting points. 62% of the money and 68% of the bets are being placed on the over.
Game Odds

Rams Offense
The Rams have one of the best offenses in the league. They are well balanced, can put up points, and have the MVP front runner as their quarterback. They are scoring 30 points per game, which is ranked 2nd in the league. With Stafford at the helm, the passing offense is ranked 2nd as well, averaging 257 yards per game. They will most likely be without a key piece tonight with Davante Adams missing the game due to a hamstring issue. That means that Puka Nacua and others will need to step up against a tough Seattle defense. The run game for LA has a two-headed backfield with the combination of Kyren Williams and Blake Corum. This run game is averaging 126 yards per game, which is 8th in the NFL. This offense will have a tough matchup with the tough Seattle defense. Add in the potential for inclement weather, this Rams offense might have trouble getting going tonight.
Rams Defense
The offense gets a lot of shine for this team. The defense is the reason that they are in the conversation for Super Bowl favorites. They are allowing just 18.6 points per game, which is 3rd in the NFL. They are excelling at stopping the run, allowing 101 yards per game on the ground. That ranks them 9th in the league. They have been known to allow a decent amount of yards through the air, allowing an average of 219 yards per game, which is 19th in the league. Seattle’s offense is built on passing the ball so that will be the key matchup to keep an eye on tonight.
Seahawks Offense
The Seattle offense is right behind the Rams in terms of the best units in the league. They are 5th in points per game, averaging 28.9. As mentioned above, they are built to pass the ball. Sam Darnold leans heavily on Jaxon Smith-Njigba to move the ball down the field. They will have the favorable matchup on paper, but the weather is concerning. As is the recent play of Darnold. He has not looked great over the past few weeks, and we have seen in the past that when the lights are bright, he tends to struggle. They may turn to their run game which has not been that impressive. They are averaging 113 yards per game, which is 22nd in the league. The combination of Ken Walker and Zach Charbonnet will need to show up tonight if the Seahawks want to win.
Seahawks Defense
While the offense has been struggling to find its footing, the defense has been lights out all year. They are 2nd in points allowed, allowing an average of17.3 points per game. They are allowing an average of 91 run yards per game, which is 3rd in the league. Against the pass, they are allowing 191 yards per game, which is 7th in the league. Mike McDonald has this unit flying around the field and will be the main reason that Seattle is a player moving forward.
Best Bet Background – Kyren Williams Rush Yards over 57.5
Kyren has burned us before this year. It is time to make things right. He has bene averaging 73.6 yards per game. He has gone over 58 yards in 11 of the 14 games that he has played this year. The last game against the Seahawks, he ran for 91 yards. Tonight’s game will be impacted by the weather. Seattle has been hit with some wintery mix and high winds. That means that passing will be at a premium tonight. I expect this to be a field position type of game with the wind playing a role, so I think that Williams might be in for more carries than usual. Add in the fact that Davante Adams will most likely be out, I think we can expect Kyren to at least get to 60 yards tonight. I will be live tweeting throughout the game so make sure to follow us on twitter(X) here: x.com/blackdog_bets
