I’ll rip the Band-Aid. I sucked this year. My picks didn’t seem to come home for several reasons. Some players got injured (an issue I avoided last year) but most of the picks were just straight up misses.
Wins/Loss Summary
- Best Bets: 58-71 (45%)
- Jamie Picks: 14-5 (74%)
- Season Previews: 19-13 (59%)
Best Bets
The regular season proved difficult as we got off to a slow start and was never able to dig ourselves out of a big hole. This is to be expected with betting. Down years will happen. I just didn’t want to believe that such a cold streak would last the entire season.
The playoffs proved to be slightly more profitable. Our picks went 8-5 and we were able to put an exclamation point on the season with a Super Bowl cash. Much like the teams in the NFL, I want to say that this kind of momentum could carry over to next year but each year begins at 0-0 and we will have to reset.
Jamie’s Bets
Jamie was the star that we needed this year. He might have kept his left leaning bias going but this year it was to great success. He got off to a hot start and kept the wins coming. Thankfully he was posting wins as I was losing my shirt. #tailthedog is officially back on the menu.
