Week 13 has started off with a hot start for us here at Black dog Bets. Our Thanksgiving best bets went 2-1 and we hit our Black Friday bet. To be sitting at 3-1 before the weekend even begins is exactly what I was hoping for to start the holiday season. We still have a full Sunday worth of games today and I have gone through the slate to pick 4 Best Bets for the day. Hope that you follow along and enjoy another great day of football. Let’s make some money!

First things first, the Best Bets:

Best Bets

  • Nico Collins Receiving Yards over 87.5
  • Geno Smith Passing Yards over 236.5
  • Cooper Kupp Receiving Yards over 71.5
  • Bills -6.5

Best Bet Background-Nico Collins Receiving Yards over 87.5

After being out for several weeks, CJ Stroud finally has his favorite target back. Nico Collins returned to his usual self last week against the Titans, where he caught 5 catches for 92 yards and 1 TD. He faces a much easier defense this week in the Jacksonville Jaguars. The Jags are in complete free fall this year and there does not seem to be much hope. Their pass defense is currently allowing 278 yards per game, which is dead last in the NFL. I would expect the Houston offense to be able to move the ball fairly easily against this defense and Collins should play a major role in that success. I might even bet an alternative line and bump it up to 100 yards.

Best Bet Background – Geno Smith Passing Yards over 236.5

Geno is in the race to be the leagues leading passer so far this year. He is averaging 275 yards per game this far. Today, he faces the team that drafted him. The Jets have had a disastrous season, especially given the high expectations. Their pass defense has taken a huge downturn ever since firing Robert Saleh. They have let up over 225 yards in each of the last two weeks to opposing quarterbacks. I expect Geno to be able to throw at will against this defense.

Best Bet Background – Cooper Kupp Receiving Yards over 71.5

Kupp has been averaging 78 yards per game so far this season. Today he faces a New Orleans defense that is 30th against the pass. They are allowing 256 pass yards per game. The Rams have been inefficient when running the ball, so they are going to rely on the arm of Matthew Stafford. Kupp is Staffords most reliable target and should be a large part of the offense today.

Best Bet Background – Bills -6.5

The Bills are taking on the 49ers in primetime tonight. The 9ers will be without Trent Williams and Nick Bosa which does not bode well. Given the injuries and how the Bills have been playing, the Bills should be able to win this game. The 9ers are averaging 23.6 points per game and are allowing 23.6 points per game. Meanwhile, Buffalo is averaging 29.1 points per game and are only allowing 19.5 points per game. They should be able to easily outscore the 49ers who have been struggling all year.
