Jerry Jeudy Rec Yards over 59.5 (-110)

Browns @ Broncos

The 3-8 Browns are traveling to Denver to take on the 7-5 Broncos. The Browns are coming off of a big divisional win against the Steelers. Other than that, they have not had much going right for them this season. The Broncos, on the other hand, are exceeding expectations and are the in the mix for a playoff spot. Tonight is a game that they should win, which is always a test of a good team. The Browns have potential to be frisky with Jameis at quarterback.

The Browns offense has been struggling to score. They are 30th in the league by averaging 16.9 points per game. They have gotten a boost ever since Jameis Winston took over for Deshaun Watson. They are also working Nick Chubb back into the fold, which provides a boost to their run game. Through the air. the Browns are averaging 204 yards per game, which is 21st in the NFL. The return of Chubb was very timely as they are one of the worst teams when it comes to running the ball. They are averaging 88 yards per game, which ranks them 29th in the league. Tonight, they face a tough Denver defense that will prove to be a challenge for a struggling offense.

The Browns defense is not helping out their offense much. They are allowing 24.3 points per game, which puts them at 22nd in the NFL. Teams have been able to run the ball on them with ease. They are allowing 130 yards per game, ranking them at 24th in the league. They are slightly better against the pass. They are allowing 214 yards per game, which is 15th in the NFL. They face an offense that does not do much well, but they are smart with the ball and are able to score. If the Browns are going to win this game, they will need to create some turnovers to give their offense some more opportunities.

The Broncos offense is scoring 22 points per game. That is good enough to be 19th in the league. This is somewhat surprising considering their offensive stats. They are 22nd in the league in pass yards, averaging 201 yards and 23rd in rush yards, averaging 111 per game. Bo Nix has been playing well enough to be in the conversation for the rookie of the year, so the Broncos will just need to continue to play smart football and take care of the ball.

The Bronco’s defense is what has been driving this team to victory. They are allowing 16.8 points per game, which is 3rd in the league. They don’t let teams run on them as they are only allowing 96 yards per game, ranking them 6th in the league. They are 9th in pass yards allowed, only allowing 199 yards per game. They have not been as good against the pass as of late. They allowed the Raiders to put up 300 pass yards. So, if there is a vulnerability on this team, it would be through the air.

Best Bet Background – Jerry Jeudy Rec Yds over 59.5

Jerry Jeudy has had a huge boost of production recently. Two factors play into his recent high usage. First would be Jameis Winston taking over at quarterback and slinging the ball around the yard. The second would be that Amari Cooper was traded to Buffalo. Jeudy is averaging 79.4 yards in the 5 games that Winston has started. That is up from the 41.3 yards that he was averaging when Watson was the starter. He also has the revenge game tonight as he faces the team that drafted him and then traded him away. I would expect Jeudy to continue to build on his chemistry with Jameis and I would expect him to gain over 60 yards tonight against his former team.
