Week 16 continues to roll as our Sunday Slate kicks off today. Our Best Bets are 2-1 on the week. We do not have the best slate, especially in the 1 PM window but we will still ride the roller coaster and try to make some money along the way. I also had Jamie pick the winner of the Chargers – Cowboys game, as that the closest to a toss-up that we have today. Let’s make some money!

Best Bet Background- Ja’Marr Chase Receiving Yards over 87.5

The Bengals are traveling to Miami to take on the Dolphins in a game where not much matters. However, Joe Burrow is going to try and will this team to score points after getting embarrassed last week against the Ravens. He will lean on his favorite target, Ja’Marr Chase. Chase is having a great year despite having to play with several quarterbacks. He has been averaging 88.2 yards per game. The Dolphins are allowing 202 pass yards per game, which is 13th in the league. They should be vulnerable today as they are dealing with injuries. The Bengals also get Tee Higgins back in action which would open up opportunities for Chase to get the ball.

Best Bet Background – Omarion Hampton Rush Yards over 48.5

The Chargers are taking on the Cowboys as they continue to push for the number 1 seed in the AFC. The Chargers have been showing grit the entire season battling through injuries and finding ways to win games. They have been leaning on their run game to grind out games and take some of the pressure off of Justin Herbert. Today should be a big day for their run game as they face a Dallas defense that has struggled against the run all year. Despite making some improvements recently, I do not believe that they have faced a team as dedicated to tthe run as much as the Chargers are. The Chargers have a running back by committee but the lead dog is Omarion Hampton. Hampton returned a couple of weeks ago from injury and has totaled over 60 yards in each game. I expect him to continue that trend today.

Best Bet Background – Trey McBride Receiving Yards over 71.5

There has only been one bright spot for the Arizona Cardinals and that has been tight end Trey McBride. He is the leading receiver for the team and has clearly been the favorite target of quarterback Jacoby Brissett. They have a tough matchup against an Atlanta defense built to stop the pass but the Cardinals cannot run the ball and fall behind often. That means that they will have to continue to throw the ball and will have to take advantage of soft coverages late in the game. That is where Trey McBride can get his yardage.

Best Bet Background – TreVeyon Henderson Rush Yards over 50.5

The primetime game tonight will be between the Patriots and Ravens. The Patriots are looking to lock up the AFC East title and need this win tonight to do so. They have found a superstar in running back TreVeyon Henderson who has shown the ability for the big play. he is averaging 55.2 yards per game but he has gone over this mark in the last 5 games. He is being used more as the season progresses. He had a huge game last week against the Bills and should be able to continue his success against a Ravens defense that is allowing 111 yards per game on the ground. The game will most likely be a close fight but the Ravens have been struggling all year. If they struggle tonight, the Patriots could be in the drivers seat to run the ball and close out the game. That means that Henderson will have plenty of chances to get over the 51-yard mark.
