Week 18 is finally here. Not a lot of the games will matter with several teams sitting starters. However, today has 2 games that will have an impact on the playoffs. At 4:30 PM ET, we have the Bucs and the Panthers duking it out for the NFC South title. Then at 8:00 PM ET we have the battle for the NFC West title between the Seahawks and the 49ers. I have gone through the available bets for both games and picked the ones that I think should be a lock. Let’s make some money!

Best Bets
  • Baker Mayfield Rush Yards over 15.5
  • George Kittle Receiving Yards over 61.5
Best Bet Background – Baker Mayfield Rush Yards over 15.5

The Bucs are hosting the Panthers in a battle for the NFC South. These teams have gone back-and-forth over the past few weeks and it all comes down to this game. If the Panthers win, they will be in the playoffs. If the Bucs win, they will need a Saints victory to get them into the tournament. Since this is a win or go home type of game, I think that Baker Mayfield is going to lay it all on the line for this one. There have been rumors that he is injured and has not been able to throw the ball as effectively as usual. However, that does not stop him from running the ball. He is averaging 21.9 rush yards per game this season. He has gone over this line in 4 of the last 5 games. One of those games includes a game against the Panthers where he ran for 49 yards. There will be a time in this game where the pocket breaks down and the Bucs need to get a first down. That is where we are going to make our money. The best odds for this line can be found on FanDuel at -112.

Best Bet Background – George Kittle Receiving Yards over 61.5

In the primetime game, the 49ers are hosting the Seahawks to determine the NFC West champion. Coming into this game, there is no offense hotter than the 49ers. Brock Purdy is playing at an incredibly high level and has the 49ers in prime position as they eye the playoffs. He has been leaning on his top target, George Kittle, to open up this offense. Kittle is averaging 59.9 yards per game but has gone over 60 yards in 5 straight games. With tonight being a key game, I would expect the 49ers offense to utilize Kittle in a big way. The Seahawks have a great defense but can be vulnerable when allowing pass yards. They are the 12th ranked pass defense, allowing 198 yards per game. The 49ers are really only able to pass so I would expect them to feed Kittle early and often. The best odds available for this line is on DraftKings at -110.
