The NFL playoffs got off to a great start with 2 bangers on Saturday. The games were thrillers, but it meant that our Best Bets went 0-2. Today we have 3 games to get back in the win column. I have gone through the available bets for both of these games and chosen the ones that I believe should be a lock. I also had Jamie pick the winner of the Bills – Jaguars game. Best Bet Background – Parker Washington Receiving Yards over 51.5

The Jaguars will be hosting the Bills in the 1 PM game. The Bills come into this game with the league’s top pass defense, allowing just 156 yards per game. This will be the key matchup to watch as the Jaguars excel at throwing the ball. They have weapons all over their offense and will be a challenge for this Buffalo defense. That opens the door for Parker Washington to have a big game today. The top two targets for this Jaguars offense will be Jakobi Meyers and Brian Thomas Jr. Washington has emerged as a big play threat that Liam Coen likes to get out in the open field. He uses his return man skills on screen plays and deep crossing routes. The Bills will have their hands full with the weapons on this team, and I believe that Washington will be able to break a few chunk plays to get himself over 52 yards. He has averaged 100 yards over the last 4 games, and I would expect him to show up once again today.

Best Bet Background – A.J Brown Receiving Yards over 67.5

The 4 PM game will be between the 49ers and the Eagles. The Eagles’ offense has been under severe scrutiny all year. One of the more vocal players on the team has been A.J Brown asking for a larger role in the pass game. All that noise paid off, and he has been more involved in the second half of the year. He has a great matchup today against a 49ers defense that is 25th in pass yards allowed per game. Brown has been averaging 66.9 yards per game but has gone over 68 yards in 4 of his last 5 games. This is a big stage and big-name players tend to show up in the playoffs. I would expect Brown to be a big part of today’s game plan against a vulnerable 49ers defense.

Best Bet Background – Rhamondre Stevenson Rush Yards over 36.5

The 8 PM game will be between the Chargers and Patriots. All signs in this game point to a physical game. Both teams have physical defenses and prefer to run the ball. The Patriots have a two headed backfield with Rhamondre Stevenson and TreVeyon Henderson. Henderson has been the home run hitter while Stevenson has bene the physical back who gets the tough yards. It is for that reason, that I am taking Stevensons over in this game. I think that he is going to get enough touches in an attempt to wear down this Chargers defense. He has shown the ability to break a long run if needed but he should be able to grind out at least 37 yards against the Chargers tonight.
