It is wild to think that Week 15 is already here. We are on the home stretch for regular seasons games as teams are making a push for the playoffs. Two of those teams face off in an NFC West showdown today. We have a TNF game between the 49ers and the Rams. I have provided some background on this division rivalry and picked out the bet that I believe will hit tonight. It should be a great game between these two rivals. First things first, the Best Bet!

Rams @ 49ers
Match-up Overview and History
The 7-6 Rams are traveling to San Francisco to take on the 6-7 49ers. These two teams are very familiar with one another. They have played 151 games against one another. San Fran currently holds a slight edge in the all time series with them being 78-70-3. In the last five match-ups, San Fran has gone 3-2 with the most recent match-up being a 27-24 Rams victory earlier this year. The game will be played in San Francisco where there is rain predicted during the game. We will see if weather is a factor in this division clash.
Rams Offense
The Rams come into this game with their offense finally being fully healthy. They have had several games this year where they were missing key pieces like Cooper Kupp and Puka Nacua. They are all back and contributing to this offense that is 16th in the league in points They are averaging 22.9 points per game. Due to their receivers and Matthew Stafford’s arm, the passing offense is averaging 237 yards per game, which is 9th in the NFL. They have a tough match-up against a 9ers defense that does very well against the pass. On the ground, the Rams are averaging 103 yards per game, which is 25th in the league. However, running back, Kyren Williams has been on a tear when it comes to finding the endzone. The 9ers defense has struggled against the run so if there was a matchup to exploit, I would expect the Rams to rely on their run game.
Rams Defense
The LA defense has been the major issue for the Rams this year. They are allowing 25.5 points per game, which is 24th in the league. They have a tough time stopping both the pass and the run. They are allowing 225 yards per game through the air, which is 24th in the NFL. Against the run, they are 28th, allowing 141 yards per game. Typically, I would say that the 49ers have the advantage with their run game. However, no one is quite sure who is running the ball tonight for San Fran.
49ers Offense
The 49ers as a whole have been inconsistent and very injured. Tonight is no exception. They are once again without Trent Williams at left tackle. They are possibly down to their 4th running back with Christian McCaffrey, Jordan Mason, and Isaac Guerendo all being injured. Despite their injuries, the 49ers have been able to put p points. They are scoring 23.7 points per game, which is 11th in the NFL. They have typically relied on their run game, which is 7th in the league with an average of 138 yards per game. I would imagine that they lean more heavily on the pass tonight against a weak Rams secondary. The 49ers pass game is averaging 239 yards per game, which is 7th in the league. I would expect the 49ers to pass a lot tonight. They could also rely on Deebo Samuel to run the rock more than they have been recently.
49ers Defense
The 49ers defense has not played up to their expected standards. They are allowing 23.7 points per game, which is 21st in the league. This is surprising as they have not been allowing that many yards. That goes to show that box score stats do not always tell the full story. They are 3rd in the league against the pass, allowing 182 yards per game. Against the run, they are allowing 115 yards per game, which is 12th in the NFL. They face a high-powered Rams offense that they struggled against in Week 3. That Rams team was without Kupp and Nacua. We will see how the rematch goes with a fully stacked Rams team.
Best Bet Background – George Kittle Receiving Yards over 61.5 (-110)
George Kittle is going to play a big part of tonight’s game. When the chips are down, Brock Purdy turns to Kittle.Kittle is averaging 72.7 yards per game this season. He is the leading receiver for the 49ers. With all of the injuries to the roster and a weak pas defense, I would expect Kittle to easily gain over 62 yards tonight.
